Central Illinois Wedding Florist – Traditional with a Twist

Traditional: White roses, white carnations, white wax flower, cascade shape.
Twist: Bright blue dendrobium orchids

With the popularity of Malibu blue, electric blue, Tiffany blue and similar bright blue colors for weddings more and more brides are looking to incorporate this color in to their wedding flowers. The  blue dendrobium orchid used in this wedding is one of the only options for a vibrant blue flower  with a teal undertone.

The wedding topper from the same wedding shows another option for incorporating a color not readily available in fresh flowers. We are able to use accent products like pins, ribbon, wire, etc. to bring the wedding color into the floral arrangements.

Thank you to Justin Harris of Moments Wedding Photography for sharing these beautiful images.

Villa Grove Wedding Florist – Red, White, and Black

Cherry red gerbera daisies in a bold but simple round hand tied contrast perfectly against the bride’s white dress. The bridesmaids carried coordinated bouquets of white gerbera daisies with a cherry red stem wrap.

Thank you, Amanda Overmyer (check out her site) for sharing the beautiful pictures you’ve captured.

Thank you also to the happy newly weds for choosing Blossom Basket.
We are honored and blessed to work with each of the couples that choose Blossom Basket to be thier wedding florist.

Urbana Wedding Florist – The Bold and the Beautiful

A picture perfection location (Urbana Country Club), a bold color palate (eggplant, hot pink, & lime), an amazing photographer (Kellie Penn of Across the Miles), a beautiful bride (wow, Mrs. S), and tasteful floral arrangements to add the final touch.  I don’t think words can do this wedding justice so I will let the images speak for themselves.
