Refinery Wedding Florist – Crimson Crush

The way the red of these bouquets pop has me enamored. I know we made the bouquets but seeing them ‘in-action’ is making my fall in love with them all over again. The cherry red of the roses is made even sweeter by the rich and ruffled crimson carnations.

These stunning photos were taken by Melissa Helm of M Failla Photography. Melissa thank you for sharing your art with us!

Allerton Park Wedding Florist- Bliss on the Bowling Lawn

This wedding was one of our favorite projects of the year! This easy-going bride gave us lots of creative freedom, which culminated at the day of on-site decoration of their custom built canopy. I love how each piece looks effortless and elegant at the same time.

Champaign Country Club Wedding Florist – Tropical Sunset

This sweet bride and I go back more years than I am willing to admit. Her bright smile and bubbly personality have not changed the years since we ran around the neighborhood together.
Initial Ideas

When we started the process of choosing flowers the bride wasn’t sure if she wanted to go with the bolder or more pastel options around her chosen feature color of coral. She did know she loved roses but wanted some additional textures as well.

Final Vision Board

Later when some of the other details had come together – we chose a softer palate for the bridal bouquet and bolder tones for the bridesmaids. Between the two bouquets we kept the same types of flowers and even some of the same colors, but swapped the lightest ivory and soft peach for a vibrant coral and hot pink. This allowed for a very cohesive style while still giving a very different look to the bouquets.

Local photographer Kara Kamienski captured these bouquets beautifully! And look at these detail shots of the reception! While staying in the same color palate we added more variety of flower types for interest. Two heights of centerpiece created for a double canopy of flowers, allowing the flowers to take a focal presence in the room without overwhelming the space.  View More: View More:

The cake by Lori Martin featured the roses again for an ombre like blend from the softer peaches to the bolder corals. View More:

Kara  – thank you for sharing your beautiful photography with us. You captured the day with such artistry.

Refinery Wedding Florist – Purples and Blues

When Kara sent over these beautiful images she captured  – I was taken back to the moment I met this sweet bride. She was so kind and laid back, she told me “My colors are every shade of blue and purple and I love these,” showing me a picture of the blue bom dendrobium orchid. Together we waded through all the floral options in the blue and purple palette, adding some touches of ivory to allow the colors to pop, and developed a plan that when executed added harmony and natural beauty to her wedding day.

We appreciate the trust each bride places in us to help her define and then bring to life her vision for her wedding flowers. Thank you to Kara Kamienski for sharing her beautiful photography that so expertly captures the beauty of our work.

Allerton Park Wedding Florist – Smiling Bride

Just days after her early fall Allerton wedding, this precious bride sent us the sweetest photo of her admiring her bouquet.
megan-mcmahon-9216-copyWe love working with all of our brides and strive to give each one the wedding flowers of her dreams. The look on a brides faces (much like this one) when she sees her flowers for the first time is confirmation of not only the beauty of the flowers but also the relationship and communication we have established.

Champaign Wedding Florist – Amethyst Sparkle

With shades of purple ranging from the softest lavender to the deepest plum, these bouquets coordinated perfectly with the many shades of purple worn by the bridal party.
