Champaign Country Club Wedding Florist – Tropical Sunset

This sweet bride and I go back more years than I am willing to admit. Her bright smile and bubbly personality have not changed the years since we ran around the neighborhood together.
Initial Ideas

When we started the process of choosing flowers the bride wasn’t sure if she wanted to go with the bolder or more pastel options around her chosen feature color of coral. She did know she loved roses but wanted some additional textures as well.

Final Vision Board

Later when some of the other details had come together – we chose a softer palate for the bridal bouquet and bolder tones for the bridesmaids. Between the two bouquets we kept the same types of flowers and even some of the same colors, but swapped the lightest ivory and soft peach for a vibrant coral and hot pink. This allowed for a very cohesive style while still giving a very different look to the bouquets.

Local photographer Kara Kamienski captured these bouquets beautifully! And look at these detail shots of the reception! While staying in the same color palate we added more variety of flower types for interest. Two heights of centerpiece created for a double canopy of flowers, allowing the flowers to take a focal presence in the room without overwhelming the space.  View More: http://karakamienskiphotography.pass.us/clasey-wedding View More: http://karakamienskiphotography.pass.us/clasey-wedding

The cake by Lori Martin featured the roses again for an ombre like blend from the softer peaches to the bolder corals. View More: http://karakamienskiphotography.pass.us/clasey-wedding
